Prices: $60 for one cat

$50 each for 2 cats

$40 each for 3 or more cats

Client Education Seminar

 

Join us on Monday, March 14th, 2011, from 6:15 to 8:00 pm at the North Branch Library for a seminar on Tick Borne Diseases.  Dr. Kenton Morgan, from Pfizer Animal Health, will be speaking about tick borne diseases, such as Anaplasma and Lymes Disease, in horses.

Since our cat castration day in October was so successful, we have planned another one in January.

Our 5th Annual Open House was a HUGE Success!

Thank you all for attending our open house!  We had a great time and hope you all did too.  Our silent auction was a huge success -  we raised over $2300 for the Minnesota Hooved Animal Rescue.  We wish to thank all those that donated the great items and our wonderful clients for bidding so high!

We will discuss what to look for when buying or adopting a new horse.  Horses are a wonderful hobby, but an expensive one.  The purpose of this class is to help prevent people from getting the wrong horse.

 

 

Horse Hoof Care Part I: Anatomy & Function

Participants will learn about the anatomy of the hoof and how it relates to proper function.  Conformational differences will be discussed and how they affect management of the hoof.  Basic concepts of proper farrier work will be addressed, focusing on what is healthy for each type of foot. 

 

 

Horse Hoof Care Part II:  Common Problems

with Kirsten Frederickson, DVM

January 28, 2010 from 6-7pm Class ID# 3374

This class will build on concepts discussed in Part I, but is open to all who are interested.  Topics will include hoof abscesses, thrush, white one disease, laminitis, and navicular disease.  We will cover the cause, treatment, and prevention for each condition.

 

 

 

Scoping Presentation

When: July 29th, 2009

Time: 6pm

Open to everyone!  Join us for an educational event about Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS).  Dr. Hoyt Cheramie DVM, MS, ACVS, will be giving a presentation about EGUS and answer questions.  Refreshments will be provided.

Special: $5 fecals all day! Drop off your horses' fecal sample at any time during this event.

Sunrise Equine and Merial invite you to a special scoping event and educational presentation on stomach ulcers, also known as Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS).  Join us to meet other horse owners in our area and see the results of the scopings.  Interactions from the audience is encouraged and each guest will receive a complimentary gift courtesy of Merial.  Call us to see if your horse meets the criteria for gastric ulcers and sign them up for a free scoping!

Dr. Voigt Attending Seminar

Dr. Voigt will be traveling to Kentucky for a continuing education seminar on Jan 16-18th.  The seminar is titled "Dr. Rick Redden's In-Depth Equine Podiatry Symposium".  The focus will be on lameness associated with the horse hoof.
